My story

Hi! I am Rosanne, owner, social media manager, customer service, content creator, packer and website builder.

When I was 20, I started working at a clothing store in the heart of Amsterdam. It was a vibrant place full of style and energy, and I immediately felt at home. In no time I had risen to shop manager of a large branch. It was a dream come true. But when I told my colleagues I was pregnant, everything changed. The harsh reality of the fashion world struck. They immediately removed me from my position.

I quickly discovered that the fashion world didn't exactly offer a warm welcome to expectant mothers. It was a hard lesson, but also a valuable insight. Fashion and motherhood seemed like two worlds that didn't mix. But instead of giving up on my dreams, I decided to do something different. I decided to establish RoseLee Amsterdam. A brand where I could combine my passion for fashion with motherhood, and where every handbag carries a little bit of that love and care.

At RoseLee Amsterdam it is not just about beautiful, handmade bags. It's about the experience, the feeling of being special, of being appreciated. Each handbag is lovingly packed in a dust bag and gift bag. And with every order you get a thank you card, care card and a little extra. A small gesture to remind you that you are important.
